About Me

I have 27 years of clinical experience. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Duke University, my Master’s Degree in Clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Bay Area Campus, and my Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from The California School of Professional Psychology, Bay Area Campus.

I completed my Residency at Johns Hopkins University Counseling, Testing, and Career Center and my PostDoctoral Fellowship at the Counseling and Psychiatric Center, University of California, Berkeley.   

I have also worked as a staff psychologist and faculty at The University of North Carolina- Greensboro, The Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cornerstone Behavioral Medicine, conducting therapy with all ages and clinical issues. While working at the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cornerstone Behavioral Medicine, I evaluated children and adolescents for ADHD and Learning Disabilities.

In 2006, I co-founded the Greensboro Center for Disordered Eating with a registered dietitian to help treat clients with eating disorders. I also started my private practice located in Greensboro where I see mostly adolescents, college students, and adults.

In 2011, I became an Adjunct Faculty member at the Center for Creative Leadership. Center for Creative Leadership a global leadership development organization ranked among the world's top 10 providers of executive education by Bloomberg Businessweek and Financial Times. I help employees of organizations across the world gain better leadership skills and conflict resolution skills in the workplace.

In 2014, I founded Next Step College Admissions and Career Counseling. I had a passion to help high school students find a college that is the “best fit” for them. I also enjoy helping college students find majors and careers that are the “best fit” for them. I have a passion for learning.

  • 2015- Graduate Certificate for Univ of California, Irvine as an Independent Educational Consultant 
  • 2018- Graduate Certificate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology- Chicago School of Prof. Psych
  • 2019- 5 day hands on training with with TEACHH through UNC Chapel Hill School of Psychiatry, and became a Certified Autism Specialist 
  • 2019- Certified as an Integrated Listening Therapy (ILS) provider used for ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, PTSD
  • 2022- Graduated from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, Master of Jurisprudence
  • 2023- High Conflict Institute - New Ways for Work Coach (Coaching Challenging Employees to Reduce   High Conflict in the Workplace) New Ways for Families Coach (Coaching Divorcing or Separating Parents turn down the conflict flame and improve co-parenting skills)
